THE TRAMWAY COMPANY AND JUBILEE DAY.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l hope that His Worship tho Mayor will exercise his authority and Btop the trams and all traffic on the evening of the 22nd, and give parents with children a chance to see tho illutr.iuaticua. Everyone says tho tram company will make a fatal error if they don't fall in with this general wish of the public, and they will eventually lo?e mere than they will gain, as they will forfeit the patronage of hundreds of their travellers by this foolish obstinacy. I know of many families besides my own who will never put another foot in a tram if they run on Jubilee Night.—l am, etc , Parent and Traveller. South Dunedin, June 15.
