They left Oeraldine with two fresh horses—draughts—which they sold the next day to a farmer at Kangitata, and afterwards ransacked his house. They returned to Geraldine, and sold a third horse and saddlery. Findlay was captured in Timaru as he was preparing to leave by the steamer, and- Scobie near Winchester, where he tried to sell some more stolen saddlery. .;
