LICENSING MEETINGS.
At the Wellington City licensing meeting to-day all hotel liceuseß for 11 p.m. were but the Committee refused the applications for New Zealand wine licenses. The Bruce Licensing Committee met at Milton at noon to-day, all the members of Committee being preset. Renewals were granted in all cases, and the application of Airs Luka for a transfer of the license for the Stirling Hotel to Robert Lowe was agreed to. Eleven o'clock licenses were <raated as follow : —T. B. Smith (KaiUneata), Robert Lowe (Stirling), Amos M'Kegg (Henley), Michael Kett, Frederick Basting?, Francis Grant, and H. G. Coombe (Milton). This is au extension of one hour ou the licenses granted last time. The New Plymouth Licensing Committee to-day granted all renewals, the police report being favorable. An application for an extension to eleven o'clock at Ruhotu was refnsed.
