NEW YORK, October 29.
A quarter of a million people, chiefly workmen, greeted Mr Bryan in Chicago. Tumultuous enthusiasm was shown. Trade union leaders declare that 97 per cent, of organised labor will support Mr Bryan. The Silverites ironically displayed the British flag at Minneapolis. Tho mob tore the flag to pieces.
