BATTALION PARADE.
A battalion parade was held last evening on the Reclaimed Ground, where the three companies in attendance, were put throngh various manoeuvres. Lieutenant - colonel Callan commanded, the other members of the staff being Adjutant Milne and Sergeantmajor Castle. The following is the parade state: —
Garrison Band.—Bandmaster, 2 sergeants, 21 landsmen; total 24. North Dunedin Kille*.- 1 ruptiin, 2lieutenants, 4 sergeaut.*. 1 bugler, 20 rank and tile; total 34. City Guards.-] captain, 2 lieutenants, 4 ser* geants, 1 bugler, 2t> rank and rile; total 34. Highland Hides. 2 lieutenants, 4 sergeants, 2Jt rank and tile; total 35.
