LONDON, July 29,
At a meeting of the shareholders of the Union Bank of Australia Mr A, Flower, the chairman, said that there were sortie signs of improvement ifi the colonies, and that the directors Were reducing expenses. The liquidator of the Bank of South Australia has paid, roughly speaking, £360,000 out of the £400,000 due to the creditors.
