AQUATICS.
The N.E.B.C. Trial Fours were continued on Thursday, with the following results : Higgins (stroke), Brundell (No. 3), Norden (No. 2), Murray (bow), Montgomery (cox) beat J. Burk (stroke), Beveridge (No. 3), Wilson (No. 2), Cannon (bow), Scale (cox). Higgins was most fancied, but Burk at the start gained half a length, which advantage he maintained until abreast of the cement works, when Higgins spurted and caught him. Botli crews then raced together until, when just off the club's, new shed, Burk had the misfortune to break his oar, which threw him out of the race. B. J. Finnegan (stroke), M'Kcnzie (No. 3), Haig (No. 2), Cuttrcss. (bow), Mills (cox) beat F. Lambeth (stroke), Fisher Qio. 3), Rumsey (No. 2), Wills (bow), Sealc (cox). Finnegan gained a length of a lead shortly after the start, and was never headed, winning comfortably by two lengths. Mr J. Breen acted as starter.
