WARDEN'S COURT.
Mr Warden Ca'rew held a sitting "of the Warden's Court yesterday, when the following applications were dealt with:—
Peter Andrew Lyders applied fop a prospecting area (300 yds by 300 yds) on a quartz reef at M'Phee's Point, Museum endowment, Nenthorn.—No objection; granted. The game applicant also applied for one acre for a machinery site at M'Phee's Point and for fifteen heads of water race fifteen chains in length on tho east side of the Taieri River.— There being no objections, both applications were granted.
lie also applied for a six months' protection certificate over his claim at M'Plicc's Point.— Withdrawn.
John Murdoch applied for a dredging prospecting area of about sixy chains on the Taieri River, near Big Creek.—Granted. An application by Robert B. Smith for a ninety days' protection certificate over his claim at Deop Stream was refused, there being no appearance of the applicant. Thomas Kirk applied for a three months' protection certificate over his claim at Deep Stream.—Refused, there being no appearance of applicant. William Bradshaw applied to construct a dam bank and to form a reservoir at Mullocky.— Lionel De Frietas objected to the application, which was refused, there being no appearance of the applicant.
Ah application by the same person to construct a water race twenty chains in length at Mullocky was also refused, The case Harris And others v. Harrison for a dissolution of partnership was further adjourned till the 7th of next month.
