ANOTHER MUTINY IN INDIA PREDICTED.

LONDON, May 5.
The Calcutta correspondent of the ‘ Spectator ’ has sent an alarming article predicting another Indian mutiny. He bases his opinion on tho fact of the Natives smearing trees and other fanatical indications.

LONDON, May 6 (Received May 7,1894, at 10.50 a.m.)
The ‘Spectator’s’ correspondent in India says that the mysterious marking of mango trees in Behar and the North-west provinces is puzzling the Government, and coincides with the secret distribution of unleavened cakes prior to the outbreak of the mutiny in May, 1857.
