SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

The Ravensbourne and Rothesay School Committee held their monthly meeting last evening. The members present were— Messrs W. Barclay (chairman), D. Ferguson, L. Gillanders, J, Harrold, J. King, J, Palmer, and R. Jack, The head-master reported the attendance for the past four weeks as follows: —Number on roll: Boys, 130; girls, 102; total, 232. Average attendance: Boys, 116; girls, 93 5 ; total, 209.5. Mr Reid further reported that two pupil - teachers had passed their examinations, Mr T.
