' The schooner Isabella Anderson, wltn a lull cargo of timber from Kaipara, arrived at Dunedin this forenoon. She left Kaipara on the 4th Inst., and experienced light to- strong variable winds throughout the passage. LONDON, January 1-Theß.M.S.Kalkoura galled from Plymouth today for Port Ohal-men.-The New Zealand Shipping Ownmnj * new steamer Ruahlne Is loading for Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney, and is announced to sail on the 20th inst.-The Duko of Brtneilad is to load for Port Chalmers and Northern ports. ARRIVAL OF THE MORAYSHIRE. The s.s. Morayshire, from London via Las Palmas, arrived off the Heads at 7 p.m. yeßter. day, and was boarded by Pilot M'Donald, who brought her Inside the Heads at 8p m. She was met lu the Lower Harbor by the Customs boat, and all being well, was admitted to pratique by Dr Dryadale (health officer), and boarded and cleared in by Captain Gray (Customs surveyor), continuing her oourae, and was berthed alongside the George street pier at 8,45 p,m. In readiness to commence this nVning to discharge her cargo for this port, whioh consists of some 1,600 tons, tn addition to whioh she has some 3,400 tons for Northern ports. The Morayshire is still under the command of Captain Goull, who brings with him his old staff of deok officers. In the engine department there has been a change, Mr Campbell having succeeded Mr Small; and Mr Fulton comes as second. Mr Millar still ocoupiea his old position aB ohief steward. The passage has been accomplished in forty-nine days, including thirty-six hours' detention at Las Palmaß.
