POSTAL DELIVERY.
TO THE EEITOB. Sir,—We have started the year 1892 decidedly to the bad re delivery of letters in this district. In 1891 we received them at about 11 a.m.; this year, bo far, about 3.15 p.m., the postmen having to walk and climb the ups and downs easily accounting for the delay. Horseflesh is cheap in this colony. Would it not be better to give to them the wear and tear than wear out the men, aad bo give us, if possible, an earlier delivery in the morning ? We are within one mile and e, half of the G.P.0., Danedip. The afternoon delivery is both retrograde and unsatisfactory.—We are, etc., Joseph Early and Son. Halfway Bush,, January 8.
