The master printers refuse to re-employ the printers who went out on strike until the strike has ended everywhere. LONDON, January 8.
Continued disputes have taken plaoe in South Wales between the colliery owners and the miners over the sliding scale of payment. SYDNEY, January 9. The tailors' strike has ended, the dispute having been referred to a conference.
