The Delegate Board have approved of the action of the West Wallsend miners in resisting the reduction, and have granted the men strike pay.

Three men were charged by the police at the Thames yesterday with conduct and with refusing to leave a hotel on Christmas at two o’clock in the morning. The charge, which was laid under the Licensing Act, was dismissed by the Justices (after consultation with the Resident Magistrate) on the ground tba f , the alleged offence having been committed out of licensed hours, the hotel was for the time being a private dwelling.
