Malls close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary alterations, as under : For Northern Forts, overland dally, at 10.30 a.m., at Chief Post Office. Late letters, guard’s van, North train, at 11 a.m. Monday, September 7. For Lyttelton and Christchurch. Per Penguio, at 2.20 p.m. Late letters, 0.F.0., at 2.30 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, Mails for Coal Island will close at Dunedin at 7 a.m., to connect with the s.s. Invercargill at Invercargill.
SAN FBANOISGO MAIL SERVICE. Wednesday, September 9. For Northern Porta, Samoa, Sandwich Islands, United States of America, Canada, South America, West Indies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, at 10 a m. Registered correspondence at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Bth. Money orders at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Bth. Book packets and newspapers at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, 9th. Late letters, beating an additional single rate of postage (2JI) as a lato fee, can be posted in the mall van attached to the North train leaving Dunedin railway station at 11 a.txu on the 9th. The above mail will close at the Branch Post Offices, Dunedin North and South Dunedin, for money orders at 4 pm., and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the Bth; letters at 9.30 a.m. and newspapers at 5 a.m. on the 9th.
