The Pakeha, with 5,771 carcasses of frozen mutton on board, sailed last night for Lyttelton.
The Omapere, from Westport via Timaru and intermediate ports, anived at Pert Chalmers at 6 a.m, to-day. After taking ou board transhipments ex Pakeha at the Bowen pier, she steamed up to Dunedin. She left Westport at 6.15 p.m. ou the 28th ult., passed Cape Farewell at 559 a.m. on the 29th; called at Nelson, and arrived at Wellington at 3 a.m. on the 30th ; left at 11.15 a,m., reaching Lyttelton at 7am. on the 31st, sailed at 115 p.m, on the Ist inst., called at Akaroa and Timaru; experienced fine weather throughout the passage. The barque Orellana was towed to sea this afternoon, and sailed for Portland, Oregon, in ballas*’.
The schooner Spray is landing cargo at Dunedin wharf.
The Omapere steamed up from Port Chal mers this afternoon, and lauded cargo at the wharf.
The Manapouii arrived alongside the George street pier at 1 p.m. to-day. Sne left Lyttelton at 8.40 pm. yesterday; met with variable winds and fine weather throughout the passage.

THE DIBEOT STEAMERS. The Aorangl arrived at Rio de Janeiro on the 31st alt. The National Mortgage Agency Company have advice from London that the cargo steamer Maraaii lett London on 21st August for Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland ; and that she sailed on 28lh August from Teneriffe.
