Heavy rain has fallen throughout New South Wales, and the harvest in the northern districts is suffering considerably. Glastonbury Creek (Queensland) was flooded by heavy rain, and came down in a solid wall of water 20ft high. Three houses were washed away, and a woman named Mrs Coomber drowned along with three of her children.
