BOWLING.

The return match, five rinks a side, between the Milton and Caledonian Bowling Clubs was played on the green of the latter this afternoon. The weather being splendid, a considerable number of spectators assembled to watch the various games, which consisted of twenty-one heads each. The games, which were on the whole well contested, resulted as follows :

After the matches had been concluded the usual complimentary speeches were indulged in, and the health of the visitors proposed and duly honored. The proceedings terminated by the members of the Caledonian Club giving three cheers for their opponents. The Milton teams left by the 4.20 train.
