TALL SCORING.

At the close of yesterday's play Yorkshire had lost seven wickets for 344 runs. Wainwright scored 105; Hurst, 87 ; Hall, 42. Three wickets fell to Bannerman. The match was declared drawn.' The wicket was very greasy. The next match begins at Manchester to-day, when they will meet the North of England. The latter team is fairly strong, and is composed almost entirely of Notts and Lancashire players.
