BOWLING.
On the Caledonian Ground this afternoon a match was played between the Taieri and Caledonian Clubs; three rinks a side. The country team led from the commencement of the play, and half-an-hour before the call of time had an advantage of 20 points, The game was of two hours' duration. Scores at each half-hour were:— Taieri Caledonian. 3 p.m. 16 6 3 30p.t11. 33 -n 1 p.m. 51 SI
