The sports were brought to a conclusion in fair time on Saturday. The following events were run off after we went to press : Posy TV.T Handicap. Two luiles. Weights, 9it. Mr J. Pony Hurdlk RACB.-Ono mile and a quarter. Weights, 9st. Mr A. Maloney's Semaphore .. ..1 Mr J. Wallace's Little Ned (difq.) .. 0 Mr W. Samson's Our Pony (disq ) ~ 0 Mr D. Tasrprart's Forget-me-not .. .. 0 Our Pony ran round a hurdle when leading, and Little Ned almost followed suit, but his rider managed to get him over near the extreme end of the hurdle, Meanwhile Forget-me-not had given up, while Semaphore ran round a hurdle, and did net get over till Our Pony and Little tfed came round again. The three then went on together, and the f. fends of Our Pony calling out to its rider to go an extra round to make up for the ono in which he missed the hurdle, all three went an extra round; but Semaphore had still gone a Up less than the others. Little Ned cama in first, Our Pony second, and Semaphore third ; but for some inscrutable re: son the commit ee disqualified Little Ned—who should have got the stakes—and also di qiaifUd Our Pony, giving the (tikes to Semaphore.
