TIRED OF HIS LIFE.
AUCKLAND, March 14,
William Luker, residing at Karangahape road, committed suicide yesterday by taking a quantity of rat poison. He stated that he had bought six jam tarts, placed the poison in them, and ate them, as he was tired of life. He died twelve hours after taking them. Deceased, who has a wife and family in England, was an inmate of the Whau Asylum, and was liberated from there in November.
