VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.
The North Dunedin Rides fired the first of three competitions for places in the team to represent the company at the forthcoming meeting of the New Zealand Kifle Association at Oamaru. The ranges were 200, 300, 400, and ;"00 yards; seven shots at each distance. The following arc the highest scores :
