A Revolution of the Women.

The Bohemian papers describe a " Revo lution of the Women" which has just occurred at Nabin, near Prague. A wealthy landowner of the place, who lost his wife about a year ago, took a voyage of consolation, and when he returned home it was found that he had brought with him a beautiful young girl, whom ho appointed as his housekeeper. All his servants indignantly struck ; they would not obey an irregular mistress. They went into the village and complained to the wives, mothers, and marriageable maidens. Hereupon a parliament of women of Nabin was convoked. It was resolved that an inßult had been offered to them and to morality, and the council unanimously agreed to make an attack upon the offender's mansion and insist upon the immediate dismissal of the girl. The angry women of Nabin, old and young, forced their way into the room where the terrified girl was hiding. They fastened a crown of dung straw upon her head, gave her a fearful whipping, and then compelled her to take an oath that she would leave Nabin at once, and would never return. She was put into a cart and driven out of the village amid the jubilant shouts of the servants. The master had sought safety in flight. '
