The Kaitangata Rifles fired the second competition for a medal on Saturday last. Ranges, 200, 400, and 500 yards ; five shots at each. The following are the highest scores:— Vol. T. Blmson .. 51 The North Dunedin Rifles fired a handicap match on Monday morning last for a number of handsome prizes presented for competition by the following:— Messrs J. M. Nicolson, Jolly, Connor, and Co., R. White, J. Wilson, T. Maw, John Gebbie, A. and J. M'Farlane, Scoullar and Chisholm, Fergusson and Mitchell, J. Campbell, 0. Braithwaite, D. and J. Bacon, R. C. Moore, R. Potter, William Wright, W. Duthie, R. M'Qaaid, James Samson, and the Dresden Piano Company. The ranges were 200, 400, and 500 yards ; five shots at each distance.
