Monday,' December 26. (Before Messrs J. Logan and A. Mercer, J.P.S.J Drunkenness. —James Gray was convicted and' discharged; Timothy Buckley (twenty-one previous convictions) and Ann Sherry (seventy-six previous convictions) were each fined ss, or twenty-four hours’ imprisonment. Tuesday, December 27. (Before Messrs J. B. Thomson and A. Mollison, J.P.s.) Drunkenness.— Margaret Docherly, an old offender, was sent to gaol for three months’, and for breaking two panes of glass, the property of Kutn Say, received fortyeight hours’, sentences to run concurrently. —Christopher Le Grand, found drunk in Maclaggan street, was fined 6s, or twentyfour hours’ imprisonment. —John Connor and George King were both convicted and discharged. ; Assauet,— Edward Arthur was charged with having on the 26th feloniously assaulted and robbed Lung Chin Wah of one shilling and sixpence.—Case was remanded until to-morrow; bail being allowed, self in L2O and two sureties of LlO each, or onfe surety of L2O,
