The Sun's meridian altitude, and the New Zealand mean time of his meridian passage, rising and setting at Dunedin: —
THB MOON'S PHASES. Full moon—sd 8h 4m p.m. Last quarter—l3d 61) 27m p.m, New moon—2ld 8h 20m a.m. First quarter—2Bd 2h Om a ra. THB MOON'S POSITION. Greatest southing—sd 2h p.m. Apogee—l2d Oh p.m. Greatest northing—2od lh a.ro Perlgoc—24d 6h p.m.
The Moon will be in conjunction with Mars on ..the 19th, with Saturn on the 21st, with Mercury on the 22nd, with Venus on the 24th, and with Jupiter on the 27th. Venus will be at greatest elongation on the 14th.
