MEETING OF CREDITORS.
RE J. R. MADSON. A meeting of creditors in the estate of John Richard Madson, of Dunedin, builder, was to have been held at the Official Assignee’s office this afternoon, but lapsed for want of a quorum. The bankrupt’s statement shows that his liabilities to unsecured creditors are LIOI Os 4d, and to a secured creditor L 216, but the securities are estimated to be worth L 24 over that amount, and as that is the only asset there is a deficiency of L 77 Os 4d iir'the whole estate. The unsecured creditors are :—J. Giltnour, L 62; J. F. Melhuish, Ll4 ; J. Hislop. L 8 ; C. B. Miller, L 6 19s 6d ; E. Admore, L 5 10s; and J. H, Lambert, L 4 11s. The secured creditor is Miss King, and the security consists of a mortgage over a cottage and land at St John’s Wood.
