THE CASUALTY AT NAPIER.
LOSS OP THE BOOJUM’, LOSS OF THREE LIVES. The Boojum, the Union Company’s steam launch, went out to the Northumberland, and was thrown up on the beach, only the engineer being saved. The drowned are A. Waddell, G. Kilvington, and G. Bain. The Northumberland’s crew were ashore firing rockets and lines from the beach. Captain Setter, of the Boojum, has been picked up, but is not expected to live.
