MONETARY AND COMMERCIAL. LONDON, April 4. Consols have further advanced £, and are now at 102£. The market rate of discount has declined to 1| per cent. Colonial breadstuffs are unchanged at last quotations, namely—Adelaide wheat (ex store), 36s 6d ; New Zealand, 33s to 37s 6d ; Adelaide flour, 255. The Secretary for the Colonies is willing to propose a moderate sum to cover expenses.
