FATAL ACCIDENT.
James Russell, a sub-contractor at the Nenthorn railway works, was killed yesterday by tlio explosion of a miss-fire blast, while attempting to withdraw tire charge. Mrs Russell lives in King street, Dunedin. John M‘(!raib, a navvy, was badly hurt about the face and eyes by the explosion.
