The negotiations which have been proceeding at Bucharest have at length ended in tho signing of a treaty of peace between Bulgaria and Sorvia. The treaty consists of a single article simply declaring the restoration of peace between the two countries.

Crooks, late manager of the Commercial Bank of South Australia, has addressed a letter to the chairman of the Board of Directors, in which he confesses that he obtained sums of money by way of overdraft without the knowledge of customers, whose accounts were debited by him with the overdrafts. Ho admits that ho had reduced the overdrafts by transferring various amounts from loan account without the knowledge of the directors.
