MASSACRES AT THE SOUTH SEA ISLANDS.
SYDNEY, February 1.

A vessel which has just arrived from the South Sea Islands brings information of the murder of two white men by the Natives of New Ireland.
THE COBURG OUTRAGE. MELBOURNE, February 1. (Received February 1,1880, at 1 p m.) Warrants have been issued for the arrest of the three daughters who were concerned in the recent murder outrage at Coburg, but they are still too ill to appear to answer to the charge. THE FEDERAL COUNCIL. HOB ART, February 1. The sitting of the Federal Council is expected to terminate on Friday next, the sth inst.
