ATTEMPT TO DYNAMITE THE PRINCE OF WALES.
[By Eleotrio Telegraph- Copyright.] [Reuter's Telegrams.] LONDON, January 22. (Received January 23, 1884, at 1.10 a.m.) Five packages containing dynamite have been discovered in a tunnel near Euston Square railway station. His Royal Highness the Prince of Waleß was about to travel northwards by the London and North-Western line, and the discovery was made prior to his departure. It is believed that it was intended to wreck the train by which the Prince proposed to travel, and it is thought that the projected outrage was the work of Fenian emissaries, but up to the present time no arrests have been made by the police. The discovery has caused much excitement and indignation.
