[Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, October 10. Mr J. E. Redmond and the Rev. T. Spurgeon were amongst the passengers for the South by the Taiaroa. By the City of Sydney, Mr R. P. Saxe, who iB also a passenger, shipped twenty sheep and forty-four head oi cattle valued at L9lO. The animals were purchased by Mr Saxe during his tour of the Waikato district. The sale of the late Mr Coatley'a properties bequeathed to Auckland institutions took place to-day, the cash result being L 34.495. _____^_
