Ruddock's Yankee, 4 yrs, 7st "lb .. .. 3 Kalo (Bst 101b), Kingask (7st 101b), Kuni (7st), Carmen (6st 101b), and Scud (Gst 81b) also ran. Leonora jumped off with the lead, and was never caught, winning by two lengths. The Hack Hurdle Race, of 30 sovs, was won by Gundagai, and the Hick Ra,ce, of 20 sovs, by the same horse.
