The amount of revenue received at tho Customhouse on goods cleared this day for consumption was L 1,242 2s lOd. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. have received the following cablegram from their London office : —" Wool market unchanged. The next sales will commence on Novembor 10. There has been a littlo private inquiry, but trade in the manufacturing districts is dull. Wheat.—Adelaide may be qnotod 51s, and New Zealand 44s per 4901b5. Tallow. —Markot quiet. Fine mutton, 37s 6d per cwt.; fine beef, 36s 6d per cwt Leather.—Best sides, OJd per lb." Property Sales. Some property at Waimate belonging to Mr W. Studhohne was auctioned on Saturday and realised, on an average, L7oan acre. The total of the sale was L 5.210. ■ [BT Tiwjbaph.] London, November 2.—Consols, 95J. Bank rate, 6 per cent.
