RAILWAY EMPLOYEES PICNIC.

As we stated on Saturday the above picnic was a great success, the attendance numbering over 1.000 people and the weather being delightful. The programme of sports comprised over two dozen events, some of which produced very exciting contests. The train left Waihola on the return journey to town at 7 p.m. The following is the prize list 100 yds Handicap Race.— Prizes, 12s, ss, and 3s : W, Loudon (10yds), 1; E. Hogg (Gyds), 2 ; J.
