MINING INTELLIGENCE.
Messrs Gillies and Street report having sold this morning 5 O. P. Q. scrip (£SO) for £4B each. The last fortnight's crushing of the O.P.Q. Company, Limited, (Waipori) resitlted in 120 oz. 9 dwts. 18 grs. from 130 tons of stone, or in value £454 16s 7d, from which has to be deducted -working expenses, £147, leaving a balance which enables a dividend of £1 to be declared upon every £SO scrip. Blackstone Hill Water Race Co. (Limited) report their receipts for the week ending 16th inst. to be £39 ; expenses, £6; available for dividend, £33. The capital of the company is £4,500. Evans, Kennelly, and Co. report having placed this day a parcel of Blackstone Hill Water Race Company's shares at £l6, and a 10th share in a 50 acre freehold, Tuapeka, pro* spected for £IOO.
