WRECKS ON THE WEST COAST.
"We have been favored by Messrs H. Houghton and Co. with a private telegram, which conveys to them the intelligence that the Maid of the Yarra has been totally wrecked at Hokitika, where there is only eight feet of water on the bar and a bad channel. The steamer Eleanor has also been wrecked at tb_e <3rey.
