FLOODING IN CORK
HEAVY DAMAGE CAUSED
Rec. 10.30 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 21. The worst floods Cork City has experienced for 50 years destroyed thousands of pounds' worth of goods, most of which are irreplaceable. The entire centre of the city and the principal shopping districts are flooded to a depth of two to four feet at high tide and for two hours afterwards.
