FAREWELL GIFTS
The presentation of an inlaid paua shell ash tray was made by Miss Watson, -.•■' president, at the .. University Women's Club's' Christmas party, to Mrs. Keetpn, a member who is to leave shortly, for England. Another gift presented to Mrs! Keeton was a watercolour picture painted- by . the. club's chairman.
Items, arranged by Miss McLeod. were given by Miss B. Pollard, pianist, and Miss van Staveren, elocutionist. A one-act play and several competitions also featured in the evening's programme. The large Christmas cake, which she had donated to the club, was cut by Mrs. Keeton.. . , .
