CHAIR IN OBSTETRICS
P.A. AUCKLAND, This Day. As part of the £100,000 appeal for funds for the establishment of a chair in obstetrics and gynaecology at Auckland University, Auckland has now raised £52,000, of which women's 'or- 1 ganisations have contributed £14,000.
At 1.20 p.m. today the fire brigade received a call to the premises of Standard Motor Bodies, Ltd., Ebor Street, where some pots of paint had caught fire. The outbreak had been extinguished by the staff before the machines arrived from- the fire station.
