GERMAN UNIONS
T.U.C. OPPOSES DESIRES
Eec. 10.30 a.m.
LONDON, Dec. 19.
The T.U.C. delegation has returned from a tour of the British zone in Germany. It reported it found that many German trade unionists desired an allinclusive centralised trade union organisation. . .
The delegation opposed . the desire, stating that" it would ultimately mean the concentration of all effective power in a small group of men. It made a series of recommendations calculated to stimulate the formation of free German trade unions with democratically-elected officers.
