SCORZA ESCAPES
Rec. 9 a.m. MILAN, Dec. 19. Police detained the rector of a Jesuit convent after the escape of a man believed to be Carlo Scorza. exFascist Party secretary. The deputy chief of police in Milan said a man dressed h a monks habit was arrested on December 15_on suspicion that he was Scorza, but was released after the rector assured the police it was a case of mistaken identity. Photographs later indicated that the man actually was Scorza, but by then he had escaped. The rector turned himself over to the police spontaneously. It has not yet been decided whether a charge would be made against him.
