STRIKERS DEMONSTRATE IN SINGAPORE
Rec. 11.20 a.m. SINGAPORE,-Dec. 20. ■ Six thousand strikers demonstrated in front of the British military headquarters, carrying banners bearing such slogans as "We want rice," "We protest against Imperialism and British, French, and Dutch oppression of Annam and Indonesia." Police stood by during the demonstration.
