FATAL CAR SKID
YOUNG WOMAN KILLED
P.A. AUCKLAND, December 20. A young woman died in Auckland Hospital today from injuries she received when the car in which she was a passenger skidded and collided with, a power pole outside Dilworth School, Great South Road, early in the morning. She was Mrs. Margaret Ngaire Wakefleld, aged 26, St. Stephen's Avenue, Parnell. It is not known what caused the vehicle to skid, but in the collision Mrs. Wakefield received severe head injuries and lacerations.
