BAKERY FIRE
At the Golden Crust Bakery, Miramar, a three-roomed building used as a garage and cloakroom, caught fire yesterday. One fire engine from Miramar and two from Constable Street attended the blaze at about 2.30 p.m. It is thought that ashes from a nearby house had set light to some window sashes stacked outside the building. The cloakroom and part of the back wall were damaged. -
