SEARCH FOR NEW RANGE
The future of rifle shooting in the Wellington district was the mam subject of discussion at the well-attended annual meeting of the Petone Defence Rifle Club last night. Trentham range, it was stated, would be available for a limited period, but the search for other sites must be the concern of every rifleman in the district. Appreciation of the wholehearted co-operation ot the Army authorities and particularly of the authorities at Trentham was expressed by the club president, Mr. W. M. Jackson. Priest; treasurer, Mr. C. Lusty; score card officer, Mr. H. Nickle.ss; handicapper, Mr. A. H. O'Donnell; selection committee, Messrs. R. H. Nichols, W. H. Ballinger. W. M. Jackson, and J. C.
