Tho programme submitted by the Marotta School of Opera on Monday was supported solely by lady singers. The numbers included great arias by Handel, Verdi, Gounod, Puccini, Saint-Saens. and others, sung in the original language by Misses A. Alexander, G. Barnao, 11. Bermer, Yvonne and Roma Parker, and M. Donald. • The solo pianist was Miss Shirley Craig, and the accompanist Miss Catherine Moncrieff. "Recalls were general. The appreciation of the audience was generously expressed in flowers.
